Hey, sorry I haven't really posted anything recently (or at all with some of my characters). I'm still here, but work's been killing me. I have to get used to my new schedule of mostly night shifts. Once I do, I'll try to get posting for my characters. ^^;;

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around in a while. I'm in a crazy place right now. As in, I have a week to find an apartment or I'm going to have to move and find another job and start that mess all over again. I'm honestly just too brain-dead right now to have any of my characters post :/ but if anyone ever wants to bug me or the chars, I do get on AIM in the evenings. Posting shall resume soon, I promise!

Sorry for the rather long silence, everyone, but thanks to Comcast being...Comcast, I currently don't have internet access at home. I won't likely be back online for another couple of weeks, since I'll soon be switching to Direct TV and moving to a new home. I apologize for not letting everyone know sooner, but this is the first chance I've had to get online.

I'm not dropping my characters, so let's just say that the birds are still looking for Frenzy, TC's in the medbay, and Springer is still out in space somewhere... Hopefully, I'll be seeing and logging with you all very soon.

Okay, I just went through and purged the members list. Left every username I remembered on there. If you are no longer a member, PLEASE rejoin.

IN THE BEGINNING.

There was the 2007 movie. And lo, there was the one known as crush_ur_bonez, and he started what came to be known as Cracktran, a bunch of robots with Livejournals hanging around. And it was good!

And then Dani drama happened. And also real life. And what was good became slow, and maybe worked up again, and then died once more. But the good friends were not forgotten, nor the epic fun!

And then some punk called cannonhappymech and bitchingcamaro decided to get us all together for a reunion and somehow the idea came about a reboot.

BUT HOW TO MAKE THINGS WORK!?!?

All of the above is way open to discussion. As far as I can tell, we're still heavily in the 'planning' phases of this reboot. The above is just a suggestion of how to rectify certain plotholes that have been established in canon.

Then again, when the hell do we care about canon~?

Hello  everybody and welcome to Cracktran. I'm Milo and I'll be your not-mod for the duration of this crazy train.

The general consensus seems to be that, yes, a restart is in order! However, we now have another point of discussion that may or may not be up in the air at the moment. So far, it seems like a reboot back to the early days of that cracky, lovely truce is in order. However, maintaining CR has been brought up and Kelly has put forth the proposal that we just pick what we want to keep and dump what we don't.

There's a similar issue with RotF canon. How much of that do we want to include?

The idea has been kicked around about a possible restart/reboot of the beloved cracktrans universe. If anyone's actually reading this who would be interested and would there be opposition to simple rules such as "Don't be a dick" and "Post when you drop/add characters."

There is a confused Ratchet, opening and closing cabinets and drawers. This time not looking for a tool, he's on the hunt for his stash of energon. He had been planning to test the stash to see how storage affected its potency and taste.

Soooo I know it's been quiet around here lately. I hope it's just the calm before the TF2 storm in June :{. Anyhoo, I've been toying with a plot idea for a while, and I'd like to know if anyone else is interested/would like to help me plan it/whatever.

Power Rangers (old skool, unless another generation is preferred).
No, really. Transformers = Zords? Transformers become Zords? Power Ranger people confuse Transformers with Zords? Transformers are kidnapped and turned into Zords and they have to be recovered and fixed? I dunno.

Anyway, I was thinking of playing Rita, and having her use...I dunno, some weird power/mystical thing or another to turn Transformers into Zords or create monsters to steal Transformers to bring back to her moon base to make them into Zords (let's see how complicated I can make this!).

It would be even more fun if someone else would pick up Zordon and/or the Power Rangers, but whatever people want.


So, yes/no? Would anyone be interested in participating? Any suggestions for how to make this actually work? XD;

Uuuum so I'm not going to be around for the next few days to a week or something. I'm relocating and stuff. I'm pretty sure I can get my wireless internet working here though, so I'll be back in a few.

Alright, I went through and updated the Friends Add/Drop lists. We lost 76 characters, and have 52 remaining. Keep in mind that some of the characters lost and added weren't in the lists until just now. Here is the updated list sets:

I just weeded out the friends list so we could all add/drop other journals quicker, so don't think that you're, like, unable to get added back.

I know it might be a dick move of mine to do this, but I kind of think it needed to be done (especially since I had like, five missing names).

Hey guys. Might've noticed I've all but disappeared from the Cracktrans scene these last few days. To be honest, I'm having a lot of problems trying to get the initiative to play here - I want to, but when I try to do something I just feel really "meh" about it.

Sooo, in lieu of dropping altogether, I'm going to go onto hiatus. I honestly feel like it's a burden playing here - not because of anyone, or anything, just because, but I've worked so hard with these characters that I'm really hesitant to drop. I'll try to stop in chat sometime later this week.

I'm sure all you have notice that I've not been around in chat or on the journals lately. Let me spare everyone a long winded set of excuses and say that at this time, I've just not been inspired or really interested in rp-ing at all for the past few weeks. I won't say that I'm going to leave because this just might be me being...well, me. But, if none of you hear from me by the end of November, then consider Springer, TC, Laserbeak, Hook, Motormaster, and Buzzsaw all back up for grabs.

This log and the still-in-progress subsequent ones have been in the works for a good long time now: they take place during the rust incident, and are the reason Starscream was so uncharacteristically quiet.

Y'all may not know this, but Starscream and Skyfire are not actually bonded! The reason for this is called 'Starscream has cold feet.' Said cold feet are because Starscream doesn't think Skyfire really knows all the terrible things he's done and isn't sorry for. Prime suggested that Starscream make a list of what he's done, then.

Okay, since Stormy has finally given notice, then so am I... at least for Bluestreak.

Quite frankly, my Blue muse has been totally built on Stormy's Skydive that I don't think he would survive a change in muns of his partner.

The journal is not available - I always keep muse journals, even when the muse disappears on me. Go make a new one, if you decide to pick up Bluestreak.


Magnus is another issue entirely, I was considering pulling him out totally but I'm not so sure now, so for the moment he's on hiatus and off driving around America. If anyone picks up Noki, consider the phonebot having stayed at home, somewhere in Metroplex (with the Newton's Cradle Magnus bought for him).

Mags might come back for Optimus's sake, since Optimus is about the only 'Bot on the base Mags is close enough to.

I don't know how many of you know about my current situation (likely only those whose journals I have on my real one's friendlist), but I've had a couple big changes in my life recently. TL;DR, I moved cross-country at the beginning of the month and it's been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster since then. (It's more complicated than that, but as I said - TL;DR)

The most obvious effect that you guys have probably noticed is the fact that, well, I haven't been active on CT.

Should I have posted a notice? Yes. Even something to the effect of 'BIAB' would have been spiffy of me. I'm...not incredibly pleased with myself with disappearing without warning, in this or a couple other RPs that I enjoy. Bad habit. Bad mun. No cookie.

This is not an 'I'M BACK LET'S PARTY' post. My situation has changed, and I no longer have hours upon hours on end to sit in front of the computer. I'm not going to be on as often. I /do/ still have time to RP and to devote to this place that has consumed my life for an entire year and I hope a few more at least, but I've A) Got to do a bit more of time management B) Get back into the 'swing' of things. This may take some time, though I really hope it doesn't take too long. As someone pointed out to me, Optimus for one is a pretty big character. And while I love him to death, I don't feel right sitting on him while the rest of you run elephants through the base. (Yes, Arcee, I saw the posts, I just kind of flaked out on your obvious hook. As I said, bad mun.)

So!

First off - I am officially dropping Mixmaster (mixingmaster), Nautilator (lobsterxmagnet), and Cousin (justacousin). I apologize to the few I was still RPing with them. The first two I haven't done much with for a few months, the latter...ditto, only longer. This leaves me with four characters, which should be easier for me to manage - Optimus Prime, Swindle, Nemesis, & Vector Prime.

Secondly - if anyone has any scenes/logs with the remaining characters that are unfinished and/or need to be worked on, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEIBEGYOU let me know. I know I have quite a few with Optimus, and I'd love to get the other three back in the game so to speak. Again, this may take some time, but I'm willing to find the bloody time to get active again if you guys are willing. Kind of a silly end, there, but I figured I'd double-check to see if I've pissed anyone off to the point where they wish to smash my head in with a bo staff or any other object.
